The system in place in China for decades of only one child per family, as their attempt to curb overpopulation is discussed in the perspective of the child in "One Face Two Nations" and is the backdrop of a gut wrenching documentary on Amazon called "One Child Nation". Winning the top prize for a documentary at Sundance and sure to be nominated for an Academy Award perhaps this movie can help put a spotlight on an egregious human rights violation being conducted for decades in China.
David Rooney of the Hollywood Reporter called the film "a valuable record and a sober but frightening illustration of the dark side of this government-controlled experiment" and praised the editing and musical score.[
Standing at 98% on Rotten Tomatoes for those of you who don't want to hide your head in the sands this is a must see.
